Mary's Cottage is an idyllic seaside cottage, which has been beautifully renovated to provide a comfortable and relaxing space. Nestled amongst a cluster of fisherman's cottages in Kingsdown, you step right out onto the seafront which is full of pretty coloured beach huts. The cottage has three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The garden is a real sun-trap with a grass and patio area, perfect for a barbecue in the summer. The cottage is ideal for families, and is pet friendly too, so no one needs to miss out on the fun. There are two pubs very close by, The Zetland Arms and The Rising Sun and the pretty village of Kingsdown is only a short walk away.? If you can drag yourself away from this idyllic setting, the vibrant town of Deal is a short drive, or a lovely beach walk, and in the other direction is a fabulous walk along the beach or along the iconic white chalk cliffs to St Margaret’s Bay and beyond so plenty of things to do, places to explore and history in which to immerse yourself.

A lovely bedroom with a double bed in the eves, bedside tables and lamps and dressing table. This room has been tastefully designed to give a coastal feel. En-suite bathroom with a WC and basin.

A lovely south facing garden with a large patio area with seating and a good size lawn area with access from the back.

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.

One dog is welcome. Please note additional pet charges of £25 will be charged per dog.

Very cute cottage in a great location just a few paces from Kingsdown beach. Tastefully decorated and warm but was unfortunately in a rather 'tired' state for our stay. The beds were not of a good standard and the cottage was in need of a deep clean and some 'TLC' fixes. Communication from Keepers Cottages was excellent however.

We loved staying in Marys Cottage, Kingsdown. The cottage was beautifully decorated and appointed and really comfortable to be in. It also had a wonderful private garden with seating and a BBQ. The cottage is much larger than it looks with plenty of living space and 3 double bedrooms. The cottage was idea for a dog too, and only 3 minutes from the beach. An ideal location to cycle from with many many trails and walks and 2 lovely pubs within a couple of minutes. Also great for sea swimming. Thank you, I would definately like to stay again.

We had a lovely four days stay in Marys cottage and enjoyed it enormously Its a perfect location and it has been decorated beautifully I would recommend it for any holiday

The cottage is well located, very close to the beach, 2 pubs and a short walk to a local shop. It was almost too well equipped, with rather chaotic kitchen and living room cupboards and cutlery, glassware and crockery all over the place. There were a number of maintenance issues that we reported and should have been addressed. The garden was lovely but needed to be tidied up and the garbage bins were full when we arrived. With a bit of TLC I would be able to raise my ratings of this cottage.

The cottage was ideally located. A stones throw from the beach, ideal for dogs and within easy reach of Deal, Sandwich and main roads to further afield. Unfortunately, the beds were awful. We slept 1 night in the master bedroom and the mattress was so awful we moved to the twin room. Again, the mattresses were so soft that we woke aching and unrested. The kitchen was very small, with little workspace for even small meals. We were also disappointed at the cleanliness of the kitchen. Pots and pans were covered in a layer of grease and dust that needed to be washed prior to using and the oven presented a fault which, when googled, appeared to be a temperature control issue. We eventually located the switch for it and this seemed to donthe trick on the 2 ooccasions it happened.

Close to the beach, very peaceful and relaxing, we loved Marys cottage. The garden is lovely, and theres plenty of living space for 5 people and a dog. We will be back!

Second stay at this cottage. Lovely location right next to beach/sea. Perfect for a long weekend to recharge & relax. Finally got a chance to eat in local pub Zetland Arms and had an amazing dinner. Also the local deli/butcher was good. Lovely walks along the coast, Visit to Deal Saturday market and local fish & chips.

We enjoyed a long winter weekend in Marys Cottage, Kingsdown right by the beach . It was comfortable and cosy . We loved the woodburner , and the walk along the beach to Walmer and Deal . It was quiet and relaxing , and the Zetland Arms pub on the beach was a great place to eat . We would happily stay there again .

For visiting family in Deal, Mary's Cottage in Kingsdown was a good choice. Being just around the corner from The Zetland Arms and close for invigorating walks along the beach, the location was ideal. We would love to rent Mary's Cottage again in the future.
