About Us
Our Founder
Keepers Cottages has led the way for self-catering accommodation across Kent since the company was founded in 2013 by Camilla Shipton, still the owner today.
Camilla began her journey cleaning for holiday cottages along the Kent coast, preparing homes for guests and building a reputation for doing things thoroughly.
It wasn’t long before homeowners began asking for more than housekeeping. They wanted someone they could trust with their home and their guests. Keepers Cottages grew naturally, build steadily through word of mouth, long standing relationships and a commitment to doing things well.
That same approach still guides the business today.

Keepers Cottages remains proudly independent and family run, with the next generation now part of the journey.
We grow carefully, choosing homes we know our guests will love and building relationships that last.
For us, it’s never been about being the biggest agency, but about being one that people trust. That independence allows us to stay personal, responsive and close to the homes we represent in Kent.

The Kent Area
Kent is a special place to holiday. Known as the Garden of England, it offers a wonderful mix of coastline and countryside – from seaside towns full of character to rolling landscapes dotted with vineyards, villages and historic landmarks. Our homes are spread across some of Kent’s most loved corners, including the coast and quieter rural areas. Whether you enjoy long walks by the sea, lunch at a local pub or mornings spent wandering market towns, there is something for everyone. Because we live here, we are always happy to share local knowledge to help guests make the most of their stay.
