A charming cottage in a great location in Dover, just 10 minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Dover has so much to offer, set on the East Kent coast with its famous white cliffs, fabulous coastal walks and amazing history. The cottage is a 20-minute walk to the iconic Dover Castle and is located at the foot the fascinating Western Heights which are one of the most impressive fortifications in Britain. The cottage has a lovely, sociable open plan ground floor with sitting room and cosy wood burner, well equipped kitchen with large dining table and benches, shower room and a sunny courtyard garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a four-poster Kingsize bed and views of Dover Castle, and a double bedroom.

The accommodation was perfectly furnished with all the essentials - we didn't need to purchase a single thing during our stay, which made settling in so effortless. The rooms were incredibly cozy and comfortable, creating the perfect home-away-from-home atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by our hosts' graciousness when I accidentally broke a coffee mug during our stay. Instead of charging us for the replacement, they were incredibly understanding and kind about it, which really speaks to their wonderful hospitality. The location couldn't have been better for our needs. We were here for a Channel swim relay, and the cottage is just a short walking distance to Dover Harbor - perfect for our morning training swims. Everything we needed was within easy reach: grocery stores nearby for supplies, and both the bus station and Dover Priory train station were conveniently close. This place truly made our Channel swim preparation trip memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for such an exceptional experience! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dover, whether for swimming, sightseeing, or simply exploring this beautiful coastal town.

Excellent central location in Dover. We came to swim the English Channel, it was just a short walk to Dover Harbor for morning training swims. Amazing history with the Dover Castle and Drop Redoubt Fort both within walking distance. Very close to the Dover Priory train station, with frequent trains to London and other towns in Kent. The home is clean and bright. Will highly recommend. We stayed 3 weeks and were sad to leave.

We had the delight of being the first visitors for 2024 so the house was spotless - literally. It made a stay in Dover much more bearable as we were there for work. The owners had put great attention to detail to what a visitor may need for their stay. We rebooked following a quick 5 day trip to Oostende for a few more days rather than the Premier Inn. The walk over the hill behind the house was lovely too when the sun decided to make an appearance. Nice to have that on your doorstep.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was very clean and comfortable, and the area was very quiet. Walkable to shopping, dining and all Dover attractions. The cottage is completely updated with a great kitchen and all the appliances you'd need. The beds were very comfortable. We were here so I could train for an English Channel relay next year. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the harbour. Hope to stay here again next year for the relay attempt! Thanks to the hosts for a great stay!

Fantastic place you have here! Prime location for all the beautiful sights in Dover. Would love to stay again, maybe for longer next time! Everyone must visit Dover Castle whilst here!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. It's just so cosy here. We recommand 'Samphire Hoe', 'Folkestone Beach' and Dover Sea Safari for days out. For tasty food we enjoyed Cullins Yard and Calcutta Port. That's for giving us the chance of having such an amazing time in Dover.
