Welcome to The Hideaway, a charming ground flat overlooking Alfred Square in the heart of the conservation area of Deal. Just yards from the beach and the shops, The Hideaway is ideal for couples, solo travellers or golfers alike looking for an idea base for a trip to Deal. The bustling High Street with its artisan shops and lively cafes and bars, and the long promenade and beach are all a short stroll away. Golfers will be spoilt with three championship golf courses just minutes away. Further afield is the lovely historic town of Sandwich, with its pretty riverside pubs and antique shops.

The hideaway flat in deal our second stay at this property and our fourth visit to Deal Lovely location couldn’t ask for more on this visit there was new windows fitted which was lovely and as always well equipped with everything you would need and this time figured out how to use the microwave and cooker so we didn’t out much this time which was ok really spent a lot of time on the seafront which we enjoy looking forward to planning our next trip The team as always have been excellent and so friendly keep up the good work. 5 star rating!

The apartment is light, well eqipped and quiet. It is in an excellent location, close to the sea front and shops/cafes and about 10 minutes walk to train station. The only slight negative, the bedroom and hallway windows look out onto the bins from the flats - probably not a real issue for most though.

I didn't need anything else, pretty much had all l needed. Location excellent. Clean. The bed was a little soft for me, but that's just personal taste. I slept on the cushions from the sofa bed and was comfortable. Lovely place, good taste.

We've been visiting Deal -often with the family, three generations- regularly for more than 15 years now, but we have so far always stayed in a cottage, because we like a little more space. So The Hideway was a new experience - and it turned out to be perfect. We knew, the location couldn't be any better: in the historic centre, close to shops and pubs, three castles (Deal, Walmer, Dover), lovely walks to Kingsdown (Zetland Arms), Sandwich (across the golf course) and on the White Cliffs (NT Cafe, lighthouse and Mrs. Knott's Tea Room), relaxing hikes in the countryside, and a sandy beach at Botany Bay. And amazingly (for Deal), we found a parking spot right in front of the flat every day. The flat is perfectly equipped and very nicely decorated (King's Head drawing from 2025 - awesome). The chef will find everything needed in the kitchen. The bathroom offers a lot of space and we can't remember having had such an efficient shower before in Britain. The living-room is small but provides enough room for two (we don't need over-sized TVs). The bedroom has just enough space and the bed is quite comfortable, so that we woke up well rested for a new exciting day. The (very) limited storage room could be a challenge in colder months. To sum it up in four words: We will be back. Flat No.1 is certainly very good value for money. And not to forget: Thanks again to the staff of Keepers Cottages. We've trusted them for many years now and we've never been disappointed. We'll book again with you pretty soon.

We enjoyed our stay in the flat in Deal. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfy and an excellent shower! The flat had everything we needed and was ideally located at the end of the high st and we found parking no problem either on ark lane or beyond the high st. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A well furnished property with everything we needed (and more) provided. Only marked down as the windows were not particularly pleasant. Really grimy on the outside and not easy to open. Also the key features of the property include a Courtyard Garden, which is a little misleading as it is a table and chairs set in a small yard with the bins for the flats. Having said that, it was an ideal property to use as a base to explore the surrounding area.

Very convenient location with market and shops in one direction and seafront and eateries in the other, all within walking distance. the apartment was one of the best maintained and cleanest we have ever stayed in. would definetely do it again!

The accommodation provided a decent holiday base for exploring the locality. Its very well placed for both the town and the beach and the owners kept in touch to offer support if required. Its very well equipped and all the facilities functioned efficiently.

Just needed somewhere to sleep for 3 nights as relatives house full. Convenient, everything we needed, comfortable for our purposes.

Stayed five nights whilst visiting family and babysitting our granddaughter. Flat is very compact but the facilities are great. Well equipped kitchen, really comfortable bed and wonderful shower. Five minutes from the town centre and close to the best pub in Deal, The Ship Inn. Oh, and great value for money. What more could you ask for?
