Most of our holiday lets in Hythe are just a short stroll or drive from the seafront or High Street, perfectly placed for exploring all the area has to offer. For a family holiday, we have larger homes right by the sea, or for a romantic break, cosy cottages tucked away for two. Many of our properties are dog friendly too, so pack the lead and treats and bring them along!
Hythe is an underrated gem neighbouring popular towns like the lively Folkestone and quaint Sandgate. As a quintessentially Kentish market town, its High Street is filled with cosy cafés, traditional pubs, and independent shops. Down by the shore, the promenade is ideal for a hot drink or an ice cream, with miles of coastal paths perfect for dog walks. Stroll along the tree-lined banks of the iconic Royal Military Canal, which also hosts wonderful local events throughout the year.
A must-visit is the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. Hop aboard this miniature railway along the coast for scenic views and stops at each town, a fun family day out and one of the best ways to see the area.
