Downs Cottage
Set in one of the most sought after locations in Kingsdown with far-reaching sea views, Downs Cottage is a luxurious and stylish beach house. The combination of modern luxuries with sophisticated elegance offers families and design aficionados escapism in this eclectic architect-designed luxury retreat.
Couples and families alike will relish precious days spent exploring the treasures of the trendy nearby town of Deal. With four large double bedrooms, three bathrooms and a gorgeous cabin bunk bed room for children, this property offers comfortable sleeping accommodation up to eleven people. Enjoy spending time together in the spectacular open plan living space, head outside to the large garden or walk out on to the beach for a stroll, swim or cycle. The owners have lovingly and cleverly restored this beach house into an incredible holiday home for multi-generational families or groups of friends to enjoy. There is also a lovely sheltered garden at the back with a table and chairs and a Green Egg BBQ.
From May 2025 to May 2026, a section of the garden will be fenced off due to a new sauna/shower room being installed.

Property Details
Stepping off the beach into the house, you enter into the kitchen/sitting room space.
Kitchen/sitting room
At one end of the room is a fantastically equipped kitchen with a large island and all the appliances you need.
A large double sided glass wood burning fire separates the room into the sitting room area.
Large comfy and bright coloured sofas surround the fire and the large plasma TV screen. A large pink ostrich feathered light stands in one corner and incredible artwork surrounds you. There is also a high tech music system throughout the house and WIFI.
Dining Room
A beautiful dining room with seating for twelve comfortably and doors on into the garden. Fun bright artwork and gorgeous furniture surround the room.
Bedroom
Sleeps 3, with three cleverly designed bunk beds and space for travel cots. Pretty lighting in the shape of balloons, which the children will love.

Sleeps 2, with a double bed, built in wardrobe, side tables and lamps.

Please note that there is space for two vehicles outside Down's Cottage itself. For extra spaces, you can park locally for free within a 5 minute walk from the house.

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
Parties and loud music are not permitted. This is a family home and a residential area.
