Bowden Lodge is situated close to the village of Kingsdown which has local shops, pubs, and a golf course. The beach lies approximately 0.3 miles away and there is good access on to the National Cycle Route one as well to the bridle paths and footpaths which lead to the Downs via quiet unadopted tracks close to the property. Deal town centre provides further facilities and the neighbouring towns of Sandwich, Dover and Canterbury are easily accessed via the A2 and A258 and together provide a comprehensive range of services. Railway stations at Deal and Walmer provide connections to Ramsgate, Sandwich, Dover and London. The High Speed service runs from Dover Priory to London St. Pancras in just over an hour. The area has good access to the continent as Dover is only approximately five miles away.
