Elizabeth Cottage
Elizabeth Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed holiday home, over 200 years old, nestled in the heart of the conservation area of Deal's historic Conservation area. The cottage would make an ideal space for couples of a small family. Dogs are very welcome too. The cosy sitting room has a wood burner, perfect for the cooler months and the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need for holiday cooking and opens onto a little courtyard. Upstairs are two tastefully decorated bedrooms and shower room. Situated in a quiet side street just off the main promenade and beach, Elizabeth Cottage is also just a short stroll to the buzzing high street with its delis, boutique shops, antiques shops, cafes and restaurants. Deal Castle is reached via a gentle stroll along the promenade and further coastal walking takes you through Walmer and Kingsdown to the lovely Zetland Arms, one of the few UK public houses on a beach, with views of the iconic white cliffs.

You can pull up directly outside the cottage to unload. After that, we recommend parking along the seafront, where free on road parking is available past the rowing club. Free parking is also available north of Alfred Square at the northern end of Deal.
The cottage is not suitable for those with restricted mobility. The stairs are steep and narrow in places.
- The staircase is steep, narrow and does turn. There is a handrail (rope) on one side.
- Between the months of October and March, a starter pack of logs are provided. You can also get logs locally on Deal's High Street or local farmshops which are a short drive away.
- There is a pet charge of £25 per pet per stay

- Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
- Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
- Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Yes - up to two dogs are very welcome, for an additional charge of £25 per dog per stay.
Elizabeth Cottage is a short walk (60 yards) from Deal's seafront and promenade. The high street with independent shops, restaurants, bars and cafés is 100 yards. You couldn't ask for a better location for exploring Deal. There are convenience stores on the High Street (2 minute walk) or Sainsbury's and Aldi are just a short 5 minute walk from the cottage.
There is a Krupps coffee machine in the kitchen, but you will need to bring pods with you. The machine takes the small Nespresso pods, which can be purchased from most Supermarkets.
The cottage is perfect for working if you have a deadline to meet or just want a quiet space for writing. The broadband is reliable and the beach is seconds away for regular head clearing walks.
