The well-established holiday park is located just minutes from the beach, benefits from an indoor pool, tennis courts, playpark, restaurant and bar. The unusual A frame style chalet has been completely renovated by its owners to give it a bright and contemporary style. The cool grey and white décor gives the property a lovely seaside feel and there are wooden floors throughout. Located just minutes from Kingsdown beach and with a swimming pool, this chalet is the perfect destination for a family seaside holiday. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens with glimpses of the sea from the upper floor, Chalet No.5 is the perfect spot to base yourself for a seaside holiday in Kent.

Reception Room

Enter via a raised terrace in to a bright and deceptively spacious open plan reception room. There is a choice of comfortable seating, smart TV and occasional tables.

Kitchen

The clever layout flows through to a smart, newly installed galley kitchen with cooker and washing machine with ample space to prepare meals.

Dining Room

There is a further social space beyond the kitchen with a dining table, chairs and bench to easily seat six people. The under-counter fridge, freezer and drinks cooler are conveniently located in the dining area. Access to the rear, private decked terrace is possible from the dining room.

Bathroom

The modern ground floor bathroom has a handbasin, bath with electric shower and WC.

Ground Floor Twin Bedroom

The first twin bedroom is located on the ground floor to the rear of the property and has fresh white bunk beds and storage. Access to the rear, private terrace is possible from the bedroom.

Double bedroom

Wooden stairs lead you to the first floor, a small landing leads you to the master bedroom at the rear with a double bed and ample storage.

Twin bedroom

The second, front-facing twin bedroom, has twin beds, ample storage and tantalising glimpses of the sea.

The park has a swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis, volley ball and crazy golf. You will need to bring your own equipment for all activities. Crazy golf clubs and balls can be hired from the reception.

Love this holiday park, it’s our second time staying while visiting family nearby. The only-site swimming pool is clean and warm. Love the location , so close to lovely beach & pub (Zealand arms). The chalet was really clean, cosy and had everything we needed. We’ll be back

We had a lovely stay here. The accomodation was very comfortable with comfy beds. it was well equipped with everything you would need. It was a great location for visiting Dover castle and for our stay after our trip abroad via ferry. It was indeed handy to have a washing machine too! The site itself, we weren't able to use the pool unfortunately so can't comment on that but the children enjoyed the golf. We also visited the beach which is a short walk away, easy enough with children. It's a pebble beach and we had a lovely few hours here. My only comments for updates would be that the shower head be looked at it. We managed to adjust it so that it was less violent but it was not great pressure then. We also had lovely help from a staff member to access a toilet on site before we left but this was not openly available. We would love to visit again, especially as the children made friends easily due to the set up of the chalets. It was a relaxing break.

The chalet was lovely and had most things we needed. Its right next to the car park, so no having to haul luggage across the site on a trolley. The upstairs windows had no curtains and the downstairs bedroom on had a translucent blind, I informed the agent and they said theyd speak to the owner about getting something sorted. There were no fans at the property, but once the agent had picked up my messages, they were very quick to deliver one. We would definitely stay again if good window coverings were sorted out for all the bedrooms.

This was a great value chalet, in a reasonable location on the Kingsdown holiday park. Unfortunately it is very close to the large bins (loud and smelly). The facilities of the holiday park are great (pool was very warm) and a nice little stroll to the pebbly beach. The chalet had everything we needed (fridge, freezer, wine fridge, oven, microwave etc), really comfortable beds. The lack of headroom and an upstairs bathroom was slightly annoying, but manageable and expected given the design of the chalet. Overall it was a clean property (floors, bedding), however the glasses were rather sticky and the blinds downstairs were filthy and off-putting. There are no blinds upstairs and it was only as we were packing up that I noticed a stick on black-out blind. We had friends in other chalets who all had blinds/curtains on the upstairs bedrooms that made the world of different. It was very noticeable in the upstairs read double bedroom as the security light from reception is on all night long and shines directly into the bedroom window. There was an intense smell of damp throughout the chalet (again not experienced in friend's chalets), which was off-putting with doors and windows closed, but during the day, airing it out helped. The bathroom fan made a hideous noise. Shower pressure and temperature were great. Keepers Cottages were amazing with helping with the booking, answering questions and providing a welcome pack. Would definitely book through them again. Overall a really enjoyable stay, but want to forewarn others as to some of the minor annoyances in the property.

Stayed at the chalet for a couple of nights. Everything we needed was there. Young lady in reception was lovely. Ideally situated for a walk to the beach (and pubs). You can't drive up to the chalet, but ours was a very short walk to the carpark. There are trolleys for transporting luggage if your chalet is further away.

We had a great stay in chalet no 5. The holiday park was clean with a beautiful view at sea and fun facilities like mini golf, tennis and a swimming pool. In the area are a lot of things to do and multiple nice cities to visit. Also 3 castles nearby! We loved it, and would recommend it to everyone.

I visited this place for 5 nights and everything was great. The WiFi works very well so it was ideal working from there. The chalet was big with many beds to accommodate 6 people. The bed was very comfortable. The place have loads of amenities: pool, tennis court, volleyball, mini golf and a little park for kids. The location is great with several pubs nearby and is next to the sea.

We had a lovely time staying at Kingsdown holiday park and Chalet no 5 was in a good position. The kitchen had everything you needed and there was plenty of space for the three of us. The staff at the holiday park were very friendly and helpful. It's just a 3 min minute walk to the beach which is perfect where we had a delicious meal at the Zetland arms. The only flaw I would say would be is please buy at decent blind for the downstairs bedroom.
