Penshurst House
If you’re looking for a beautifully styled seaside retreat just moments from the High Street and beach, Penshurst House is the perfect choice. This elegant home forms one of the beautiful Albion Villas, handsome Victorian houses built when Deal first became a fashionable coastal town. Inside, you’ll find a relaxed, welcoming home where every detail has been carefully considered for comfort. On the ground floor, a more formal sitting room offers a quiet space for reading, playing board games, or simply unwinding to the sound of a favourite vinyl. The kitchen is fully equipped for holiday cooking, while the separate dining room sets the scene for long suppers with friends and family. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom and twin room are light and inviting, and the bathroom is designed for pure indulgence, a free-standing bath for long evening soaks, a walk-in rainfall shower, and underfloor heating to keep things cosy year-round. Head downstairs to the lower ground floor and find the snug, which is a wonderfully cosy room with a large corner sofa, armchairs, wood-burning stove and Smart TV. It’s the perfect spot for relaxed movie nights or for teens and children to have their own space. Outside, the garden has been newly redesigned, with a fresh patio and shingle area, new garden furniture, and planting ready to come to life in spring. There's also a useful outdoor WC. It’s an ideal place for breakfast in the sun or evening drinks after a day exploring. From the front door, everything is within easy reach, the beach is less than five minutes’ walk, the Popup café is just around the corner (perfect for collecting croissants), and Deal’s vibrant High Street, with its independent shops and restaurants, is right on your doorstep. Whether you’re visiting as a family or escaping with friends, Penshurst House is a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.

Deal
Penshurst House is set in Deal, a much-loved seaside town on Kent’s Heritage Coast, known for its elegant Georgian streets and relaxed coastal atmosphere. The seafront and pebble beach are within easy reach, ideal for morning walks along the promenade or quieter moments watching the light shift across the English Channel. Deal’s compact layout makes it easy to explore on foot, with the shoreline, cafés and shops all close at hand.
The town’s award-winning high street is a real highlight, offering a vibrant mix of independent boutiques, antiques shops, artisan bakeries and excellent delis. Seafront pubs and seafood restaurants provide relaxed dining throughout the day, while cosy cafés and wine bars are tucked into the streets behind.
