Ravenscourt is superbly located in Whitstable, offering one of the town’s best positions for a true seaside stay. The beach is just a 3 minute walk away, making it easy to dip in and out of the water or enjoy long walks along the shore.
At the top of Nelson Road you’ll find the much-loved local Windy Corner Café, perfect for coffee, breakfast or a relaxed lunch, while the nearby tennis courts are within a 2 minute stroll, adding to the area’s laid-back, outdoor appeal.
Whitstable’s working harbour lies close by, home to colourful fishing boats, fish huts and some of the best seafood on the Kent coast. Harbour Street and the High Street offer an engaging mix of independent shops, galleries and cafés, all reflecting the town’s creative spirit. The Neptune pub is around a 5 minute walk away, reached via the seafront and tennis courts, and is a firm favourite for food and drinks enjoyed just steps from the sea.
For exploring further afield, the Whitstable Coastal Trail links the town with Herne Bay and Reculver, while the Crab and Winkle Way provides a scenic walking and cycling route towards Canterbury. Whitstable railway station offers direct connections to London, making Ravenscourt an ideal base for short seaside breaks or longer stays discovering the Kent coast.
