Riley Cottage
Riley Cottage is a delightful two bedroom cottage on Middle Street in the heart of the Deal conservation area, and is just minutes from the High Street and the seafront. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard, whilst retaining many original features including exposed beams and brickwork. Arranged over three floors, this home has been lovingly designed to provide a relaxing and comfortable space. The ground floor has a wonderful, sociable open plan design with a cosy sitting room with brick hearth and wood burner, dining table seating four guests, and a fully equipped kitchen. A stable door leads from the kitchen to the enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, the perfect place for morning coffee or an early evening aperitif. On the first floor is the principal bedroom and the large bathroom, and on the second floor is the twin bedroom. Riley Cottage would be ideally suited for a couple or a family with young children, and you can bring your four-legged friend with you as the cottage is pet friendly.

Free on street parking on neighbouring streets and pay and display car parking on the promenade.
There is no ground floor accommodation, the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first and second floors. The stairs are not particularly steep, unlike most properties in Deal's conservation area, and they also have a carpet runner and handrail on one side.

- A starter pack of sundries such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid and hand soaps are provided to get you started, but you may wish to bring more for your self catering holiday - especially if staying for over a week

Yes, your four legged friend is very welcome for an additional charge of £25. There is a courtyard, which is useful to let your dog out at night and then the beach is just around the corner (literally) from the cottage for beach walks.
There is one travel cot, high chair and stair gate available. You can add these at the time of your booking or let Keepers Cottages team know. You will need to bring cot linen, as this isn't provided. As well as these practical amenities, there are also some books and games in the twin bedroom at the top of the cottage and plastic cutlery, plates and cups in the kitchen.
There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen as well as a french press. You will need to bring pods with you. The machine takes the small Nespresso pods, which can be purchased from most Supermarkets.
The cottage is perfect for working if you have a deadline to meet or just want a quiet space for creativity. The broadband is reliable and the beach is seconds away for regular walk breaks.
