The Drift is an elegant holiday cottage that has everything you need for a wonderful coastal holiday or short break. The interior is tasteful and relaxing with a welcoming and cosy sitting room and a lovely open plan kitchen and dining area. Upstairs over two floors are two beautifully designed bedrooms and a bathroom.

Outside is an enclosed courtyard garden with a raised deck with seating and sun shade, and the wonderful addition of a pizza oven, the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring Deal and further afield. An added bonus is secure off-street parking for one small to medium car.

The Drift is a short walk to the beach and the lovely long promenade that takes you all the way into the centre of Deal, through Walmer to Kingsdown where you can enjoy a refreshing drink at The Zetland Arms, one of the few UK pubs situated on a beach. Deal’s iconic Georgian High Street is also a short stroll from the cottage and offers a wealth of artisan, boutique and independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.

The Drift in Deal is a gorgeous property. It is beautifully furnished and provided so many lovely touches. I was very impressed with it all. We enjoyed a few days in this property which is centrally located and an easy walk into Deal. I also would praise the staff at Head Office. There was a problem with one of the door keys. This was dealt with very quickly and communication was excellent. Thank you.

I think we picked the coldest weekend of this winter but The Drift cottage was warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean with lots of added extras, plus the added bonus of a parking space which I was able to get my Mini Countryman on. Theres a nice decking area which unfortunately was much to cold to sit on, a nice touch for the summer though. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants and pubs, perfect all round.

We stayed at The Drift for a week and loved it. The property is situated in a conservation area amongst lots of other beautiful properties a short walk from the centre of Deal. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Even though the stairs were steep the rope handles supplied made it relatively easy for old knees to cope with the climb!! The beach was virtually on our doorstep and the walk along the prom to the town centre was a delight.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. It's decorated beautifully and the bed is incredibily comfortable - a real plus! First visit to Deal and we'll certainly come again. Even got a couple of visits to the beach and swam in the sea! Lovely holiday!

It was very nice. Unfortunately the loo broke on the Saturday night and couldn't be fixed until Monday. Also the wifi was not answering to the password so I was was unable to access the Internet, but fortunately could manage by using my phone as an Internet hot spot.

Bravo! We have stayed in many holiday cottages throughout the country and The Drift is certainly one of the best. Well appointed, well located and spotlessly clean. We have loved staying here for our first (but hopefully not the last) visit to Deal. We ate at The Rose and The Frog & Scot - both were excellent.
