The Loft
The Loft is a fabulous apartment just a few steps from the beach, located on the historic Island Wall in Whitstable. Tastefully decorated in soft muted tones, the interior reflects the joy of coastal living. The open plan living space is perfect for relaxing and socialising, and the two bedrooms and bathroom make this lovely apartment perfect for couples or small families. The apartment has the additional attraction of an allocated parking space.
A short stroll along the beach brings you to the iconic The Old Neptune pub, one of the few UK pubs situated on a beach, from where you can catch the most stunning sunsets. Continue along the beach path and you reach the centre of Whitstable which is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

- Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
- For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
- Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am.
- Parties and loud music are not permitted.

The Loft is perfectly positioned in Whitstable, just two minutes from both the sea and the high street, making it an ideal spot for slipping effortlessly into coastal town life.
The beach is close enough for an early morning swim, a sunset stroll along the shore or a quiet pause by the water with coffee in hand. Despite its central location, this part of Whitstable retains a relaxed, easygoing feel that suits both short breaks and longer stays. Step outside and you are immediately immersed in the character of the town. The high street and Harbour Street are lined with independent shops, galleries, cafés and record stores, alongside bakeries, delis and relaxed pubs that invite slow wandering.
The working harbour is a short walk away, where fishing boats, oyster dredgers and colourful huts give Whitstable its unmistakable maritime charm, and seafood is never far from the menu. For exploring beyond the town, the Whitstable Coastal Trail offers scenic walking and cycling routes towards Herne Bay and Reculver, while the Crab and Winkle Way leads inland to Canterbury through countryside and woodland.
