Inside, the house is welcoming and bright, arranged for easy holiday living. The cosy sitting room, complete with an open fire, is made for snug nights in. Just beyond, the dining room connects seamlessly to the well-equipped kitchen. Also on the ground floor is one of the bedrooms, with a Superking size bed and roll top bath, and doors out to the garden. Upstairs, the magic of the location becomes even more apparent. Two generous bedrooms, both en-suite, open onto a balcony that looks across Kingsdown's pretty beach huts and ever changing sea. With three bathrooms, plenty of space and thoughtful touches throughout, the house caters beautifully to families, offering toys, games and the beach just steps away. Yet it also lends itself wonderfully to adults seeking a quiet coastal escape. Even four-legged friends are warmly welcomed, they’ll love exploring the shoreline as much as you will. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside or outside the property at any time. Please no charging of vapes or e-scooters.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.

The location couldnt have been better right on the beach and next to a fantastic pub but the property lacked in areas. The garden was very tired and covered in weeds. Not a particularly pleasant area to sit out in. Several of the decking boards felt like you could put your foot through them. There was a tap but no outside shower or hose to wash the dogs after being in the sea. Inside was lovely but no standing showers. We had to sit in the free standing bath and use hand held shower to wash or have baths and with two big teenage boys this wasnt ideal. Would be easy to just put an attachment on the wall. The plugs also kept getting stuck so water wouldnt drain. No scissors or dishcloths in kitchen. We still enjoyed our stay but for the money we expected a little more attention to detail.

This cottage was just right for us for a 5-day Christmas with our grown-up children. We loved the position. The two pubs on the doorstep. The cliff walk over to St Margarets and back. The art on the walls. The deeply comfortable beds and bedding. The interesting art books. The two ovens that cooked our Christmas feast. The Christmas tree the owners provided us with. The fire in the fireplace. We would love to come back.

Trafalgar Cottage is in need of much tlc which has been notified to Keepers Cottages The location is wonderful and with some improvements Trafalgar Cottage would be be too.

I adored this light bright house, a stones throw from the sea. Comfortable and beautifully decorated. Roaring log fire, exquisitely comfortable bedrooms, pretty garden. The 6 of us celebrated New Year in great style.

We arrived at Trafalgar cottage and our first challenge was getting over the enormous puddle on the road by the gate, wellies recommended! Then parking there is a drive but our 4/4 only just fitted with centimetres to spare, we parked by the pub once I loaded. The cottage is lovely ( especially useful the washer and dryer but basic kitchen ware was a bit dated , not a sharp knife . The location is stunning and the walks from outside the door were beautiful , our dog particularly enjoying the smells . We had a lovely time but wont be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. There was only 1 concern related to the roll top bath on the ground floor. Both of us are in our late 70's. Access and egress from the bath is not easy. May I suggest that safety grab handles are fitted. The lighting for bedtime reading could also be improved. The office staff were very helpful in answering our pre - visit questions We will come again.
